Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog! I grew up in Brownsburg and attended Brownsburg schools from kindergarten until I graduated from high school. It's pretty surreal to be back at East Middle School after having been a student here at your age. I went to college at IUPUI, where I started off studying medical sciences in the School of Health and Rehabilitation. Halfway through my senior year, I changed my major and started over - I transferred to the Herron School of Art and Design and followed my lifelong dream to become an art teacher! Sometimes, I can't believe this is my life, but I'm thrilled to be here living every moment. As far as art goes, clay is my favorite medium to work with in studio and to teach. Throwing clay on a pottery wheel allows me to experiment in some outrageous and exciting ways...the possibilities are endless! I can't wait to have you in my class and teach you all the wonderful things there are to love about art.
Always remember: You are welcome, you are wanted, and you are valued. You belong here and I am happy to have you.
